SERVICES FOR EVERY JOURNEY
Support, education, advocacy
The Women’s Resource Centre is committed to supporting women in our community.
Our services are designed to equip women with the tools and support needed to navigate life and thrive while they are doing it.
What the women of Bermuda are saying:
COUNSELLING & SUPPORT
We believe that healing and growth is possible for every woman.

Phase 1 - 3 months of one-on-one counselling sessions
Phase 2 - 3 months of counselling & life skills training
Phase 3 - 3 months of mentorship & sponsorship to pursue and education course of your choice.
The next cohort begins in June 2025.
Support Groups
We create safe spaces for healing and recovery in the form of community support groups. Currently the WRC offers the following groups, which are open to women age 18 and older.
Mothers Support - meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Grief Support - meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
These peer support groups are designed to bring people with shared experiences together to support and learn from each other. They are offered free to the community.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
We believe that an educated mind is an empowered one.
The WRC offers community education and training opportunities for group learning and support. Our education series includes topics on health and wellness, personal finance, parenting, professional development and legal matters, among others.
Visit our events page for upcoming community education & training opportunities.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
WRC Community Birthing Class
In partnership with the It Takes a Village Foundation, our Community Birthing Classes are for pregnant women in their 2nd or 3rd trimester and their birth partner. Expectant mothers will learn evidence-based child birth education to support all options and type of birth and gain tools for a positive birth and infant feeding experience.
Facilitated by Feven Binega-Northcott, a Doula, childbirth educator and owner of Harmony Birth Services, classes are held quarterly and are offered on a sliding scale basis for low-income families.
